The landmarks of the mandible (lower jaw) include:

1. **Mental Symphysis:** The midline junction of the two halves of the mandible at the chin.

2. **Mental Protuberance:** The prominence of the chin.

3. **Mental Tubercles:** Small bony protuberances on either side of the midline, just below the incisor teeth.

4. **Alveolar Process:** The ridge containing the sockets (alveoli) for the lower teeth.

5. **Mandibular Foramen:** An opening on the medial surface of the ramus, allowing passage of nerves and blood vessels.

6. **Mandibular Angle:** The junction of the body and the ramus of the mandible.

7. **Ramus of Mandible:** The vertical or near-vertical portion of the mandible, extending from the body to the condyle.

8. **Condyle:** The rounded prominence at the upper end of the mandibular ramus, forming the temporomandibular joint with the skull.

9. **Coronoid Process:** The anterior, flattened process of the ramus.

These landmarks play crucial roles in anatomy, dental sciences, and surgical procedures related to the mandible
